Subject: Received Error Code=10400
Hi,

I am using a MS Mobile 5.0 Smartphone device.  The service seems to
work fine when my google calendar was empty (or only 2-3 events).  When
I tried it with a full google calendar, the send works, i.e. it sent 1
event from my phone to google, yet it froze on "sending 1/1" or 1/0.  I
did not receive any events from google.

I then get a Error Code=10400

My log says:

11/7/2006 - 10:32
- Slow Sync for Events
- Failed: Sync completed (1...can't see rest
- Device: +0, =0, -0 items
- Server: +0, =0, -0 items
- Rec 0 / Sent 20989 bytes

Please help!  Thank you.

odd, just tried it again (outside this time).  Worked fine.

It would be great though if the meaning of the different sync modes
were explained, like "slow", "normal", "update server" etc..

Hi,

Slow:
Server sends all entries to Device.
Device sends all entries to Server.
This happnes the first time you sync or if you sync somewhere else in
between or use a new device.

Normal: (GOOSYNC SHOULD BE SET TO THIS)
Server sends new, modified and deleted entries to Device.
Device sends new, modified and deleted entries to Server.
This is the normal sync (sometimes called fast sync) that happens 99% of the
time you sync. It will automatically switch to "slow" if needed.

Update Server: ( NOT SUPPORTED BY GOOSYNC)
Device sends new, modified and deleted entries to Server.

Update Device: ( NOT SUPPORTED BY GOOSYNC)
Server sends new, modified and deleted entries to Device.

Reload Device: ( NOT SUPPORTED BY GOOSYNC)
Server sends all entries to Device.

Chris.
