Contacts List/Delete Groups by Size

I have recently come across a problem that seems to be plaguing many Google Contacts users (judging by forums posts) where a bad sync will create thousands of empty groups. Would it be possible to include a function that would list groups by <>= number of contacts in said group? I would really like a batch way to remove all of the extraneous groups.
