Hi all,

I am new to Google API's and I want to use Google Search engine
abilities in my application. I've read about API's, and it seems that
SOAP API suits the best. But there stated that Google isn't maintaining
it any more, so I can't download this API and can't get the key.

They recommend to use AJAX API instead, but I write a plain
Java-application (without web-interface, queries are generated
automatically from analysed data), so how (by which API) could I
perform such kind of search? I really need it for my research. Sorry
for my English and thanks in advance.

They no longer offer keys for the SOAP API. You'll have to use AJAX,
scrape the web results or use Yahoo.

SOAP API was intendend to avoid scraping and further development of
ideas, and now that it's discontinued, that's exactly what they'll do -
scrapers.
