What would Google look like if Google Suggest and Google
Personalized were slapped together into 1 monster of a search tool. I
can get suggestions based on my personal search preferences.

Another couple of suggestions for improvement of your new Google
Groups2 would be:

1. A spell checker for posts. Google does a great job of spell
checking my searches why not help me out with my posts in Google Groups
as well.

2. Text formating in general but also text for code ie. when I post
my VB code in a VB group I can highlight my code as code. This makes
it a lot easier for other's to decifer your coding problems.

3. An option to star a post as it's created. As of now when I
create a post that I want to keep track of I have to first post it and
then go back into the group and star it as a topic. Why not take out
the extra step and add a button to star this topic right away when I
write it.

4. E-mail notification!! When someone replies to a post of mine it
would be cool to be notified as it happens. Perhaps an integration
between Google Groups, Google Alerts and even Gmail.

5. Language translation integration in Google Groups. The internet
is global and so are the groups at Google. I wouldn't have thought of
this one when I was living in the U.S. but now that I'm living in
another country translating websites and text are part of my daily
staple. In order for posters to understand each other better it would
be cool to see a Google Group in your native language. Google already
translates webpages very well.

This is the end of my list of product improvements. I'd like to
know how to get onto the list for beta testing new products? I missed
the boat on being part of Gmail :( . People I know that have Gmail
accounts give no input on product improvement. Yet some how these
slugs got a Gmail account.

Why not give an account to me, someone who looks for ways to
improve Google products and actually clicks on the little feedback link
all the way at the bottom of the page.

Thanks,

Paul Izzo

P.S. you can click on my feedback at the bottom of this message. I'd
like to know if my suggestion have any relivance or do they get sent
off to some black box of a server for parsing or something non-human
