Ancho Links + Hosted Browser

When I add a link like this:
<a href="#Login">Login</a>
in my static html... and then try to click that link in the hosted
browser, the url in the hosted browser is not updated. If i compile/
browse in safari, the url is updated and the link works as expected.
Am I missing understanding how this should work or is this a bug in
the hosted browser?
My environment is:
-Mac OS X 10.5.7
-eclipse 3.4

Advanced a bit on this.
I am noticing that if I initialize the History's
"addValueChangeHandler" I am getting the tokens for the links that I
setup... however, the url in the hosted browser will only reflect that
new token if I hit refresh on the hosted browser.
Is there something I should be doing within the onValueChange handler
or elsewhere to reflect the new stat correctly in the browser?
