I know that I can easily implement my own with PopupPanel, nevertheless
are there plans to include a standard Context Menu support to GWT?
Thanks.

>From a completely personal perspective, I am a little wary because I
really don't like it when applications prevent me from accessing the
browser's natural context menu -- I guess you could call it the "it
really is still a web page" school of thought. Context menus, while
really useful, can also be easily misused in a way that makes apps more
complex, when what's really needed is a clearer design. For example, I
really appreciate that Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Calendar did not
override the context menu, even though it may have been a tempting way
to implement certain features.
I´m working in an web-app that need to "feel" like a desktop-app, for example. It´s a customer requeriment. I don´t want to put context menus there bu,t if they ask me, i will need to put it there somehow.

To make GWT applications more "desktop like" we need popup's.
I will usually agree, but look at Writely, and you will see context
menus put to good use. I think there is definately a need for this.
