Will GWT wave client be open sourced?

Hi,
I've been at Google I/O and was very impressed from Google wave (both
keynote and very good tech talks).
It has been said that wave will be open source. Will the gwt client
code also be opened or will this be closed source?
It would be great to "steal" some best practices and tricks how to
build a fast UI.

Yes! The plan is to release a reference implementation of the client,
as well as the server.

The Wave client is an excellent showcase for GWT. As far as I can tell
the UI styling and widgets are not part of core GWT: will this be
available anytime soon do you think?
