overlays with Google Visualization API maps

Hi,

Is there any plans to support overlay with a Google heat map geomap? I
wish to place pins overlapped on a geomap such as the one shown at:
http://code.google.com/apis/visualization/documentation/gallery/geomap.html#Example

For my project I would need to show both regions, and overlaid pins at
certain long/lat positions on the map. I tried the regular Google map
API which I can use to place pins but that API doesn't support
highlighting of borders.

Hi,

I'm sorry but we currently do not support placing pins on the geomap. 

However, we do support the placing circles of different size and color. Please see the "marker mode" in the spec (options['dataMode'] = 'markers';).
