Subject: Y Axis
I understand the the Hot Trends algorithm is trying to find topics
that are growing fast and not necessarily the top keywords in terms of
raw searches.  However, why doesn't Google publish the number searches
in the Y Axis of the graphs?  It seems the information is either too
valuable to just give away, or they do not think it is relevant.   I
do!

Any comments on why that info isn't provided??

The number of searches on the Y axis would be beneficial - because an
increase from 4 to 5 searches per time frame is a bigger jump
statistically than an increase from 45 to 50 during the same time
period. The ability to see shifting consciousness in pretty much real
time is awe inspiring.

I am reminded of Theilhard de Chardin's concept of the noosphere -
which in essence is a snapshot of the total composite of human thought
at any given point in time.  He, of course, being a Jesuit monk, put
his bent on the noosphere - which was essentially a psychic evolution
ending in the omega point - of total world love.  Google has given us
all a glimmering glimpse of this tracking ability of human thought
with Google Trends Hot Trends.

All the best!
