And you're compiling against the iphone sdk? if you aren't compiling
against the sdk, we don't define it, but then you should get apple's
headers.
Are you using the sources directly from svn or the zip file? top of svn has
a few other fixes/changes that we haven't put out a new zip for yet.
Have to see it to fully understand, but it sounds like someone your having

Thanks so much for the super useful tool and docs.

If I follow the guide (I think word for word), I get the following
error...

oh i figured it out from the wiki page.

I have to close the iphone simulator each time i run the unit test. So
what does this line do? Could I just comment it out?

I opened the sample project GTMIphone and got 1 error when running the
script

../RunIPhoneUnitTest.sh: line 23: 570 Abort trap
"$TARGET_BUILD_DIR/$EXECUTABLE _PATH" -RegisterForSystemEvents

If I comment out the line, it works fine. Any ideas on it?

If you are still having problems, you could send your build output to
us to take a look at....maybe we could spot something.

There aren't any other docs to point you at. :(
Only thing I can think is to do a clean rebuild, and check the output to
ensure that file is getting compiled in the target as you expect. (or I'm
not thinking of something else obvious) :(

I have GTMSenTestCase.m in the project already.
When I created the new target, I made it a Cocoa Touch Application. I
think that has it using the iPhone SDK (?).
Is the Basic Project Setup list of files the ones at

GTMTestCase should come from GTMSenTestCase.m (the end of it). It's in the
list of files defined in the Basic Project Setup.
SenTestCase also comes from GTMSenTestCase.m, but it's wrapped in an ifdef.
If you aren't using the iPhone SDK on the target, then it won't define this
class.

I followed the instructions (as far as I can tell) at

to set up unit testing on an iPhone application.
I am getting link error.
The errors say .....
that it can't find the symbol "GTMTestCase" as referenced in my unit
test file - the interface definition shows inheritance from that

Hi.

I've also found a small error in the docs for the
STAssertNotEquals(a1, a2, description, ...) method in file
GTMSenTestCase.h.

"Generates a failure when a1 is UNEQUAL to a2. This test is for C
scalars, structs and unions."

I think it should be "when a1 is EQUAL to a2....".

Sorry for just replying today.

Regarding that last "error" I've posted in my previous reply, it seems
that the "error" just occurs when the unit tests run really fast. It's
like, the Debugger didn't finish doing something to the unit tests
target app but the app already quit. If the tests take enough time to

Thanks for the feedback Andre, I have updated the guide appropriately.
I haven't seen your last point about the Error from Debugger, so if
you could track down what is causing that, I would be very interested.
