hi everyone,
I know i have already missed the deadline but i have one question.I am highly interested in working on Cms (open source) drupal.I just want to ask that "an upgradation of presently existing module" .Will it be considered as a project or i have to come up something entirely new concept

The correct place to ask such questions is the mailing list or IRC channel of the organisation.

GSoC does not require that you create something new. So extending an
existing plugin would be a possible project, assuming what you're
proposing is not a trivial change and enough to keep you busy for
about 3 months.

For details, you should probably talk to the Drupal folks to see what
they consider a good size for such a project.
