Participant list for University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest

Hello!

My name is Razvan Deaconescu, I am a Teaching Assistant at the
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (mentioned as "Polytechnic
University of Bucharest" in GSoC stats).

I've seen the list of students accepted at Google Summer of Code 2012[1]
and am glad to see a lot of them from our university. We are actively
promoting GSoC in the university and are very happy that a consistent
number of students take part in GSoC each year[2][3].

In order to help us better promote GSoC in the university (both to
students and professors), it would be wonderful if we were provided with
the list of students taking part in GSoC from our university. Would it
be possible to be provided the list? We've done some name mapping of our
own, but it takes a while and there may be some name clashes?. Is there
a need for a formal approval from the university?

At the same time, we would welcome if we could be provided the list of
students from UPB from past editions of GSoC. It would allow us to make
some nice blog posts and graphs regarding UPB's contribution to GSoC,
increase awareness and attract more students.

We do not provide lists of students to anyone; we protect the privacy of all students participating in GSoC very carefully.
