Administrivia - Mailing List and Forms

Hello everyone,

Mailing Lists:
All pending subscriptions to both the Private Mentors Mailing List[0]
and Private Students Mailing List[1] have been approved. If you are a
mentor or an accepted student for Summer of Code 2008, you should be
subscribed to the appropriate private list. If you are not
subscribed, please apply for membership, stating your real name and
organization affiliation.

Organization administrators, please make sure that all your students
and mentors check to make sure they're subscribed.

***If you are not a student for Summer of Code 2008, you can stop
reading now.***

Tax Forms & Proof of Enrollment:
Instructions for returning this documentation have been sent to the
private students mailing list.[2] If you are hoping to email in your
forms, be kind and fax them instead. If you absolutely cannot fax
them, instructions for emailing them will be sent to the list in a few
weeks.

While there is no deadline to submit this documentation, we will not
pay you unless we have it on file. If you want to be paid within a few
days of start of coding on May 26, 2008, get your forms to us by May
12th.

Letters to Establish CPT, etc.:
If you need a letter from Google stating that you are enrolled in
Summer of Code, either for CPT or another purpose, you can email me to
get one. Instructions were sent to the private students mailing list.
[3] If you do not know what CPT is, you don't need a letter for it.

That should be everything pending for now. Enjoy the community bonding
