I recently tried to add my Twitter feeds that I'm following and I'm
still encountering update problems:

1. My friends' tweets and I have been active everyday, yet the last
update is November of last year.
2. The updates are happening in 4 hour increments.

Anyone else having the same problem? Anyone solved this yet?

I've experienced the same problems for a while now.  I've opened a
pseudo-support ticket with Twitter at Get Satisfaction that you can

Reps from Twitter and Google Reader have both commented on the issue
but people are still reporting broken feeds.  Recently `Dave' has
posted a workaround involving hosting the feed yourself, however it's
just a workaround and Google Reader is still not properly crawling
Twitter feeds.

I've been having the same problem for over a month now!

But it seems to happen only for *some* twitter IDs. It's
consistently broken for "burhop" but consistently works
for "CaliLewis" for example.

Google gurus please
