I've got an odd problem that just cropped up last week after using
google reader with gears for a long time.
When I go offline, the articles download OK but the keyboard shortcuts
don't quite work anymore. For example, 'j' doesn't highlight the
article or mark it as read. Clicking on the article does not select it
or mark it as read either.
As well, the article counts don't seem to get updated.
I'm using FF 2.0.0.13 + gears 0.3.13.0 on Win XP SP2.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled gears, deleted the database, etc with
no luck.

(Mac OSX 10.3, PPC G4, Firefox 2.0.0.13, Gears 0.1.56, no other addons/
scripts)
I thought it might be because I use an older version of Gears (current
Gears crashes Firefox, still).
Also, it seems that items are no longer automatically Marked as Read
when I scroll past them in extended view, and, if I marked them
manually I can no longer unMark them.

Thanks for your patience. I'm happy to report to you that we've
isolated the problem and should have a fix live in the next few days;
turns out we made some changes and broke a few things :) Thanks again
for reporting and helping to make Reader better. If the problem
persists in a few days, please let us know and we'll take another
look.
