We've heard from a number of you that you might be experiencing
consistent difficulty deleting tags. This error seems common
particularly on accounts with a high number of tags. Unfortunately,
this is a known issue; we've been working to fix the problem but are
limited by the current implementation of tags and folders. We're
looking to redo the way tags and folders are handled, so hopefully
you'll soon see much more robust performance when managing tags.
In the meantime, we are able to tweak accounts on a one-off basis to
fix the problem. If you're experiencing this issue, please follow the
link below and answer a few basic questions to get your account fixed.
Thanks for this service -- it helped me delete the previously
undeletable tags.
However, a new problem seems to have emerged in its wake. I'm now
unable to create a tag with the same name as a previously deleted tag.
I can repeat the following steps with a 100% success rate:
1) Select a feed in the sidebar.
2) Go to Feed Settings -> New Folder and name it "xyz".
3) In the sidebar, the feed now appears under the folder "xyz".
4) Go to Manage Subscriptions and select the Tags tab.
5) Delete folder "xyz".
6) Go back to the main reader page.
7) Repeat steps 1-2.
8) I get the "changes saved" message but an "xyz" folder doesn't
appear in the sidebar.
9) Going to Manage Subscriptions and selecting the Tags tab reveals
that "xyz" doesn't exist in the list of tags.
I wonder if this only affects people who've followed the link to get
their account fixed, or if it affects all users regardless.
On further investigation, this phenomenon only seems to affect tags
that were deleted immediately following the fix. New tags I create now
can be deleted and recreated again, but any tag created pre-fix and
deleted post-fix can't be recreated.

Pierre82- I took a look at your account and was able to tweak a few
settings. You should be good to go now.
Sonance- I'm sorry to hear you're still having trouble. Mind providing
a few more details? Could you let us know the name of some specific
tags you can't recreate?

Started deleting again, and same problem showed up again, i.e around
100 tags could be removed the it the error came back, no more tags
could be removed. Is it possible while tweaking to remove all tags?,

I cannot manage subscriptions. I click the "Change Folder" dropdown
and nothing happens. Is this what you are referring to? I submitted
