Terrible, TERRIBLE implementation.

I hate to sound like a broken record here, but it simply can't be said
enough.

The idea behind the feature is nice, and close to something I've
wanted for awhile, but not like this!

Up until now, I have used the share feature to share things with a
select group of friends.  This implementation, giving me the option to
either remove all my shared items (over 2000!) or share those items
with ALL my contacts is terrible!  Didn't it occur to the people at
google that maybe, for example, I share items with a group of friends
that have one political leaning, but don't share those items with
other contacts of mine who have a different political leaning?  Worse
yet, what about younger people who may be sharing sexually related
feeds with friends...perhaps they don't want their family members to
also see those shares!

I'd LOVE the ability to create multiple shared items feeds so that
when I share an item, I can select different people or groups the
shared item goes to, but automatically showing all of my contacts ALL
of my shared items is absolutely terrible!

Frankly, I'm shocked that this still hasn't been fixed after 2
days...it's such a horrendous mistake I would have thought they'd turn
the feature off right away until they could fix it.

My faith in Google has taken a HUGE hit because of this.
