Subject: Re: New Feature: Sharing with Friends
The way these people have handled the current user feedback has shown
that they are in reality *not* interested in hearing what people
think, contrary to what the original post says. It would be safe to
say that regardless of what kind of feedback they get, it will be in
the minority because most people don't care that much about the
services they use. So the people that give feedback will
automatically, by their very nature of caring, be in the minority.
Saying that they can't really take such groups into account means that
they were in fact lying when they said they wanted feedback.

Additionally, not having thought through this "feature" at all, and
not understanding in this day and age that automatic opt-in features
like this is shunned by the industry at large, save for spam companies
and idiots, it's clear that arguing that they should pick any sane
route to fix this problem is probably falling on deaf ears.

Personally I'm going to find a new place to read my feeds. I have
nothing to hide but the fact that they handle my account with this
blatant incompetence leaves me wondering what they will come up with
next, and personally I'm not going to stick around to find out.
