Subject: Post your thoughts or questions on Share Anything here!
Share Anything is here!

On behalf of the Google Reader Team, I'm happy to announce that we've
just added some exciting new features to Google Reader that will help
you better share what you're interested in on the web! Among them are:

"Share items with a note"

Ever wish you could explain to your friends why you're sharing a
particular item? Now you can post a note to accompany any item you
share! Just click the "Share with note" button, located conveniently
next to your old friend, the regular "Share" button. :)

"Share anything with a bookmarklet"

Ever found something on the web you wished you could share through
Reader only to find that the site in question doesn't offer a relevant
RSS feed? Fear not! Click on the "Notes" section in your sidebar.
Next, drag the "Note in Reader" link to your browser's toolbar. The
link will magically transform into a bookmarklet. From now on,
whenever you'd like to share anything you come across on the web,
whether it has an RSS feed or not, just click the "Note in Reader"
bookmarklet and a pop-up window will appear with sharing options. Try
it out!

"Add a note"

By clicking on the new "Notes" link in your sidebar, you'll be able to
write a standalone item either for your own reference or to appear in
your Shared items!

There's a few other new improvements, too! Head over to the Official
Google Reader Blog for more information!

I'd also like to thank you, the passionate users of Google Reader who
make up this discussion group, for helping make these features
possible. You have been diligently suggesting many of these features
for some time and your keen insight into what makes Reader great and
what could make it better plays no small role in determining the
present and future direction of Google Reader.

Please feel free to post your thoughts, findings, concerns and
(hopefully) praise regarding these new features to this thread. The
Reader Team is eager to hear what you think!

Sincerely,
Roger
