I spend zero time on Facebook, less on Twitter.  I spend many hours
here.  For the most part, this is because Google (GMail excepted,
naturally) has been one place where people basically LEAVE ME THE F*
ALONE.

Now my GReader is growing all kinds of REALLY UNWELCOME garbage like
how many STRANGERS liked a story... everyone I know wants to FOLLOW
me... and want me to FOLLOW them... and then *I* have to be the bad
guy and explain to them that I don't read blogs for the social
activity... WTF?  Facebook?  Twitter? Nope, this is Google.  Supposed
to be, anyway.

This stuff needs to grow an OFF SWITCH.  NOW please!
