And I've got to admit, we're all about as excited for this as you are. If you don't see it right away, just log out and log back in again. Please share any feedback you have -- we really want to hear what you think about it.

Btw, since the new update, the small feed syndication thingies (you know, the ones you paste a script for) have stopped working. Is anyone else seeing this?

Awesome guys, Thanks. I was waiting for this for a long time now, and yeah, it's working fine. And as, Raft has pointed out, PRINT should be on the next list.

OMG! Why does it even search through feeds that I'm not subscribed to anymore?! I don't want search results from feeds that _I have dropped_ a long time ago. I want search results from feeds that _I'm subscribed to_ (at the time I'm searching). (When I want to search through feeds that I'm not subscribed to, I use blogsearch.google.com.)
When I search for something in Gmail I don't get search results from e- mails that have been deleted (not in trash, _deleted_), do I?
Apparently, when I subscribe to a feed and then unsubscribe from it, I'm not _in fact_ unsubscribed from it in Google Reader: When I resubscribe to it, there are also entries shown that meanwhile have been removed from the feed (those wouldn't be shown if I'd subscribe (for the first time) to the feed from another account), so this means that the contents of (unsubscribed) feeds are somehow stored. -- That's extremely annoying! (I'm thinking about switching to another RSS Reader.)
I want complete control over my account and the ability to DELETE stuff (not just to hide it).

I am not seeing it on Firefox either...I opened IE7 (just to see if it was there..hate doing that) and it showed. My guess is they made it work for the most used browser and forgot to test it on the good ones.

of course what i want is to be able to save a search for future use, or better yet make the results of a search into a separate feed....... or use it as a permanent filter on certain feed....

While I was eagerly waiting for this feature to be implemented I would relly like to see it work in Opera. Actually, at the moment I would love to see Google Reader work at all in Opera since from this morning all it loads is top bar.
This is nice. Am I still the only one that is looking for a FILTER to weed out items before they hit my Google Reader folders? For instance, I don't want any news EVER again about iPhone, regardless of the story origins, Engadget, Woot, Yugster, AT&T, etc. We really need a topic, subject, or keyword "ignore" feature to associate with our feeds.

Regarding the new tweak that hides the side navigation by clicking on the separator to its right: Now that I've tried this, I would prefer to have the side navigation window like it use to be. Clicking the little down arrow in the upper right side of the screen makes the side navigation temporarily pop down. How to keep the side naviagation window anchored like it use to be?

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! I have been wanting this for so long. I rely on my google reader to stay up to date, to save time, to save items of interest. Now, finally I can be even more efficient by searching instead of scrolling and sorting and taking up precious time to find something I starred or tagged some time ago and want to find again. I tried it out and it works great. I also appreciate the other tweaks you made. I am a huge fan of google reader (and Google in general) and probably use reader more then even my gmail account most days. Great job. You all are awesome. Thanks, thanks, thanks! :)

search is great, but .... how do search specific folders or subscriptions? how do i save searches? (there's a great script for gmail out there somehwere - would be wonderful if that would work with reader as well :) )
