I'd like this feature too.

A sort of "suspend" that does not retrieve any more any article until
feed is resumed.
Helpful in order to maintain a complete list but really activating
only a subset of it.

in google reader when ever i share sth and my friends liked it and
shared it, again it comes to me that my friend shared a new item, it
seems to be a huge loop when my community grows large.
if you can make it that if i shared sth and my friend to it does not
apear a new shared item from my friend to me.

would love a vacation hold on feeds where if I am going to be away
from my computer for several days I could have reader not go out and
pull hundreds of feeds when I log in again. It would be best if this
could be at th individual feed level.

email on RSS change DEFEATS the purpose of RSS... so I am NOT
requesting rss2email

Either a native gmail GUI feature or as a lab.

allow G-reader users to set a flag on a given feed to receive visual
indication in web gmail of updates / changes ... to avoid to teadium
of 'ceaselessly' checking for upates (on the web)

I would prefer a GUI indicate in gmail on RSS change.

Would be nice to be able to rename a folder. Would also be nice to be
able to alter manually the order in which folders and individual
subscriptions appear in the panel on the left, so that i could put
whichever feed i most want to read at the top of my list. Is that
possible? Maybe by some kind of 'move up' and 'move down' buttons in

I constantly use Reader to do media searches and wish there were a way
to let it know when posts are terrible.

I agree completely! I use the Star feature the same way, and I would

Old Feeds Don't Go Away Anymore

I use two browsers all day: one account for personal, another for
work. It would be nice to delegate "read-write" access so that one of
my Google Reader accounts could be read by the other. This way either
account could update my main, Reader account.
