I like the new iPhone Ajax UI a lot, but there are three things that
get on my nerves:
- Inconsistent image resizing (some images get the "Click to zoom in"
link added, some don't)
- Inconsistent page widths (quite often I get articles that are, for
some mysterious reason, too wide to fit on the screen, even when there
are no large images to push margins wider)
- Clicking on navigation links (next article, more..., mark as read,
etc.) _does not_ scroll back to the top of the listing - you either
end up at the bottom of another article list or at the bottom of
another article, and tapping the top of the screen to go to the
beginning feels... like a kludge.
Also, having the star and share links at the bottom of the article
feels wrong - they should be at the start of the article, so that I
can quickly star something and move on without having to read through
to the bottom - for long articles that I will always read later, it is
a needless pain.
