Subject: Places API Unlimtied Quota

Hello,

We are using Places API(Text Search) in our mobile
application(Android & iOS).As documented by you here
https://developers.google.com/places/documentation/,Usage limit for Places
api is 1,00,000 requests per 24 hour period(*which is 10,000 for Text
Search because each request for text search counted as 10 quota search*)
even after enabling billing. We need unlimited quota for our usage as
searching place is our key feature and also when users of application grows
this limit maybe not sufficient. *So I need to know is there any way to
have unlimited quota for Places API and also If it is paid than what is the
charge for each request?*
*

*Thanks,*
*Chirag*

Chirag -
Did you ever find a resolution to this? My company is looking for a higher
quota as well.
Thanks!
Sam

It is possible to request a higher quota.

In the Google APIs console, click on "Set Billable Limits" on the
"Quotas" tab. From there you can click on "Request More..." which
links to a form where you can request additional quota. They'll want a
link to your app and some information about it.

Hi,

We have recently released a new Google Places API Web Service – Quota
Uplift Request <http://places-quota-uplifts.appspot.com/> form to enable
developers to request more quota for the Google Places API Web Service than
the maximum billable limit of 100,000.

Please visit the form above and enter in the required details. Once
submitted we will review your application to ensure it meets our
Terms<http://developers.google.com/maps/terms>
 and Developer Policies <http://developers.google.com/places/policies> after
which we will contact you shortly to notify you of the outcome of your
quota uplift request.

Many Thanks,
