2. make check

Expect all tests to pass.

Please provide any additional information below.
Cannot run ./maybe_threads_unittest.sh: cannot find libtcmalloc_minimal.so
FAIL: maybe_threads_unittest.sh

This test ought probably to be skipped when dynamic libs are not being
built.
