We are a medical clinic and for the last six months I have tried
everything to get rid of the address that shows up under the plus box
in google search results. Our business name is Asheville Medicine and
Pediatrics. The incorrect address (our old address) is 100 technology
dr #A; asheville, nc 28803 (828)651-0003. We need this changed to 600
Julian Lane, Suite 630; Arden, NC 28704 (828)651-0121. When you click
on the map after expanding the plus box, it takes you to the correct
display in google maps just not in the search results. We are in a new
office complex that still is not showing up on google maps so could
this be part of the problem. Any help would be very much appreciated
as we have patients driving to wrong place and calling the wrong
number. Is it possible to pay to expedite this change? This is having
a seriously negative impact on our practice.

the old wrong info in Google Maps Local Business Center and somehow
have multiple listings on Google Maps that are correct, but STILL
after 6+ months of trying to fix it there is an entirely wrong city
map (years old) showing up with the [+] in search results. It is
infuriating....PLEASE Google, if it can't be verified by the site
owner, don't attach it to search results. It is bad info!!! HELP!

Same problem here: an address in Oregon appears in the + map under a Google search for our store (corner cuisine). Our store is located in Virginia. All the information for our store is also correct in Google Maps and the Local Business Center, but so far, and after 8 months of sending messages and posting on this board, no one from Google's customer service has replied to the posts or advised whether anyone is even working on getting the issue resolved. If anyone out there has any helpful suggestions for us, please let us know!

Google returns a link to our website (cornercuisine.com) as the first result, but the '+' sign links to to a map in Oregon, instead of our Local Business Map in Virginia. The search terms are "asheville medicine and pediatrics"
Can you just delete the "+" box from the search results. Our new
address is still not registering on maps so I would like to have the
"+" box removed all together from our listing.

We even purchased a Sponsored Link for our business name to at least
have the correct address on the page when searching for our business.
But, obviously it would be best if the organic result was correct.

Top Hat Dance Studio is listed on the search results page twice. The
listing at the top of the page has the correct address which is....
Correct: 10771 Bustleton Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19116
However, there is an incorrect listing with a "+" Sign that shows the
wrong address.
Incorrect: 3114 Willits Rd Philadelphia, PA 19136
We have tried for a year to have this address changed to no avail.
The address has been changed in Google local business, Google maps,
the business web site, and on search engines throughout the internet.
No one seems to know how to change the "+" Sign Google address or
determine the source of the incorrect listing data.

Similar problem: Peacock Irrigation is top of the list on the Google
Map but it always shows the wrong URL. It should show www.peacock-irrigation.co.uk NOT www.peacock-electrics.co.uk. See link (which shows my search
terms).

And have discovered that in many cases, Google is still referencing
pages from your site that still have the old address on them. If you
do remove those "orphan" references and have your site indexed by
Google I believe that you might see relief from your troubles. Perhaps
in 6 to 8 weeks :)

Thank you for your detailed investigation into the problem on your
blog. I thought that all references to the old address were removed
from the business web site, alas it looks like we missed two pages
written awhile ago. We changed the web pages to the new address and
have put the URLs in our sitemap file for the google indexer. We
also resubmitted the sitmap to Google. Hopefully this will fix the
problem. Thanks again.

The problem is the Map is for a completely different business than our

Our client's website shows up first in the results, and has the
correct address, as well as a couple of other results. Our page for
the client shows up around the sixth spot, and the page that's index
has the correct address as well as the cache of the page. Yet the "+"
sign address is wrong. It's their old address that was change some
time ago.
The client is asking us to get this fixed, and this seems to be the
only way to get these "+" sign addresses updated correctly.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I recently typed in "universal church life" into the Google Web
Search. The top result displayed the church I was looking for. Below
the church's link, it gave an option to Map the Address. The problem
is that it displays the wrong address. And when you actually click
the
"Map..." link, it gives the wrong telephone number as well. How do I
change this? Or is that something that Google needs to take care of?

Could you also help us with our listing?
When you do a Google Search, the wrong address (old) and map are
displayed on the +Map. Customers are consistently going to the wrong
address. However, the correct map and listings are available if you
search directly on Google Maps for our business. We have edited on
our Local Business Center to provide all of the correct info and have
verified.
