Subject: construction
Does Google Maps offer updates for construction and road closures? If
so, in St. Louis the stretch of I 64/40 is closed between I170 and
Kingshighway for the entire 2009. Currently routes are directed
through the closed road. I would appreciate any help with this as I
travel that route frequently and am unfamiliar with the local roads.
Thanks.

-Ryan

I remember suggesting here last year that Google Maps update the last
64/40 construction and they did pretty quickly. I was trying to find
exactly where I posted when I found your post.  It looks like Google
still shows the western portion of the closure and hasnt updated for
the 2nd 5 mile stretch between 170 and Kingshighway.  If anyone knows
of another place we should be posting, please let one of us know.

Any Luck finding out how to report this?  I live right near the closed
section of I-64 and it's annoying to constantly have to adjust the
initial route.  Also, not being able to use the newly opened section
of 40.  ( Ballas to 170).

Good afternon everyone,

Just wanted to update you that this bug has been logged with both our
team and with our map data vendor. However, I can't provide you with a
specific time when this issue may be resolved.

Thanks for letting me know about this issue.
