I'm in the process of updating my existing maps to include 3d map
views. I currently use the GHierarchicalMapTypeControl to create a
drop down effect for maptype choices. Seems that when I choose the
"earth" map display I loose my hierarchical view.

Am I dealing with an incompatabily issue with the G_SATELLITE_3D_MAP

Flash was the first thought I had, and I didn't even realise there was
a Google Maps Flash API - thanks!

If it turns out javascript can't provide a solution, then I think I'll
be heading to the Flash API group very soon.

Thank you very much. It now works!

The problem was I was not copying the complete(?) GDownloadURl code. I
was leaving out the line with the "infowindowclose".

While I am a little bit familiar with javascript, I've got to learn to
very carefully watch for the braces to ensure I'm getting everything!

Hello all,

Is there any way to close any open info windows with a custom button
click event. I'm looking to do a loop through any open info windows
and close them. I would think this should be pretty simple but I can't
find any answers.

GGoogleBar onIdleCallback

I would like to handle the event of a user using the GGoogleBar search
and it returned zero results. onIdleCallback does get called for
this, however, it also gets called when the user clicks the "clear
results" link.

Does anyone have a technique to know which of the two scenarios
happened to cause the event to be fired?

If it really is like that, your script is outside of the html tags and
may be ignored by some browsers.
