  <title type="text">G_SATELLITE_3D_MAP and using GHierarchicalMapTypeControl controls</title>

  I&#39;m in the process of updating my existing maps to include 3d map &lt;br&gt; views. I currently use the GHierarchicalMapTypeControl to create a &lt;br&gt; drop down effect for maptype choices. Seems that when I choose the &lt;br&gt; &amp;quot;earth&amp;quot; map display I loose my hierarchical view. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Am I dealing with an incompatabily issue with the G_SATELLITE_3D_MAP

  Flash was the first thought I had, and I didn&#39;t even realise there was &lt;br&gt; a Google Maps Flash API - thanks! &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;If it turns out javascript can&#39;t provide a solution, then I think I&#39;ll &lt;br&gt; be heading to the Flash API group very soon. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Thanks for the ideas :)

  Thank you very much. It now works! &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;The problem was I was not copying the complete(?) GDownloadURl code. I &lt;br&gt; was leaving out the line with the &amp;quot;infowindowclose&amp;quot;. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;While I am a little bit familiar with javascript, I&#39;ve got to learn to &lt;br&gt; very carefully watch for the braces to ensure I&#39;m getting everything!

  I would like to handle the event of a user using the GGoogleBar search &lt;br&gt; and it returned zero results. onIdleCallback does get called for &lt;br&gt; this, however, it also gets called when the user clicks the &amp;quot;clear &lt;br&gt; results&amp;quot; link. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Does anyone have a technique to know which of the two scenarios &lt;br&gt; happened to cause the event to be fired?
