cannot add feature on a street

Hi,
See link below. Trying to add a point to the street using the blue
drop. After clicking, and selecting category, I get error message:

Failed to create feature
No valid address generated or entered. Please correct errors and
submit again or cancel.

In addition, the 'satellite' view shows the building clearly... the
'map' view shows nothing: screen is blank.

Advice?

Hi Dave,
Unfortunately, the US is not yet open for editing on Google Map
Maker. Please see the complete list of countries here:

In the meantime, you can use the Community edits and Report a problem
features of Google Maps to report & address some issues:
