Did not merge road segments since metadata did not match - exactly what did not match?

Trying to delete the intersection at
http://www.google.com/mapmaker?hl=en&fll=13.051279,80.25076&fr=0.000209,0.000215&mpp=0.581737&gw=39&ll=13.051945,80.25076&spn=0.003015,0.004957&t=h&z=18&iwloc=0_0&fid=4202533856397246507:15190128141939122744
(since there is no need of an intersection there) leads to the
thoughtfully phrased and complete error message
"Internal Error[ggrA_yggFK]: Did not merge segments since metadata did
not match. Internal Error[ggrA_yggFK]: Did not merge segments. Bad
data (Invalid Road S..."
Normally I would give up at this stage, but this time I decided to
look at the metadata of the two road segments incident on this
intersection, and look for something that didn't match (since GMM
won't tell me this important piece of information itself). I couldn't
find anything.
So can someone tell me, what does not match?
