First time user. When I zoom in I see no detail on the US map. What am

Dear neiljsalkind,
Google Map Maker is not yet open for editing in the US -- our current
plan is to enable editing in the US next year. In the meantime, you
can use the Community edits and Report a problem features of Google
Maps to report & address some issues.
