  The reason for the difference in the accounts is due to the fact that &lt;br&gt; new accounts are enable to Import (from Yahoo!, AOL etc.,) in a way &lt;br&gt; that Gmail hasn&#39;t enabled before. &lt;br&gt; It&#39;s supposed to have been rolled out to old accounts as well, but as &lt;br&gt; you&#39;ve discovered, it&#39;s taking rather longer than anticipated!!

  <title type="text">mail fetcher &amp; importing mails from other accounts</title>

  I want to import or fetch (if those are different) ALL my mails from &lt;br&gt; an old fastmail account into my new gmail account. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;As far as I can tell, mail fetcher only imports emails in the inbox of &lt;br&gt; the old account, whereas I want all emails, including those in other &lt;br&gt; folders. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Is that right? And is there a way of getting all emails?

  Yes, it&#39;s the same information as before! &lt;br&gt; Sadly the e-mail addresses are still obfuscated, so I&#39;m not really any &lt;br&gt; the wiser in trying to see where it&#39;s been going to. &lt;br&gt; However, at least one IP address is 127.0.0.1 which of course is &lt;br&gt; itself!! &lt;br&gt; Maybe that&#39;s why it&#39;s not showing. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Rachel, &lt;br&gt; if you can perhaps re submit (on this thread,rather than start yet

  I have tried to set up automatic forwards from Hotmail to Gmail but &lt;br&gt; normally this is refused as Hotmail will only forward to other Hotmail &lt;br&gt; or Live accounts and at the same time removes the original copy.

  Messages from a particular sender are not showing up in my gmail &lt;br&gt; account when forwarded from either hotmail or yahoo mail. Mail from &lt;br&gt; other senders does show up. Is there some trick to this? The messages &lt;br&gt; which get lost are not treated as SPAM by hotmail or yahoo mail. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Thanks for any help.

  With IMAP, all the clients should show the same account information. &lt;br&gt; You might start by telling us what is not working.

  The ONLY way to make the .pst files identical is to copy the same file &lt;br&gt; to all three devices. yes, I know tat&#39;s next to impossible - but you &lt;br&gt; did ask!   I agree that this feature can cause problems. For example, some lists &lt;br&gt; insert &lt;br&gt; a unique id into each received message before posting it; the Google &lt;br&gt; mail &lt;br&gt; feature make this id unavailable to the original sender. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I&#39;d also like to see an option to disable it.
