Google Lattitude : Not able to insert location

Hi,

I am able to get the code from the following url:

https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?scope=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.googleapis.com%2Fauth%2Fuserinfo.email+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.googleapis.com%2Fauth%2Fuserinfo.profile&redirect_uri=urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob&response_type=code&client_id=xxxxxxxxxxxx-vidpc32qmbdgt0j1lt5jfh3ghbfuk02r.apps.googleusercontent.com

but when i edit the scope for lattitude to https://www.googleapis.com/auth/latitude.current.city .

I am getting the error invalid scope.

what steps should i follow to  insert the users' location and retrieve it?

I want to develop application for My desktop (Linux).
