hi,
picasa is nice but with the lack of uploading a hole directory its
just like any other website

picasa web is the thing!! but unfortunately as i understood
unavailable for linux...

why?

Because it's not done yet.

When it's ready.

In the meantime, if you're eager to get a preview,
you can install the latest Windows version of Picasa on Linux
using wine-0.9.30 from winehq.org, or follow the steps somebody
posted here earlier to install it under the version of Wine that came
with the original picasa for Linux. Some things won't work as well
as we'd like, but that's why we haven't released it yet.

can't till there's web folders here in Picasa.

Because it would be cheaper to have a GTK version!
