Transliteration API and Language support for Android

We had been trying to use the Google Transliteration API for Android
but because of lack of unicode languages support we are not able to
render characters properly on Android phones. We were successful in
creating a powerful app on IOS iPublisher http://itunes.apple.com/app/id445665567?mt=8

Can you give me some indication when the transliteration API and
language support will be available for Android.
