Using Tamil IME from Google. bugs and suggestions!

Hi,

First this IME is the thing I've been waiting for ages, awesome work
there. thanks a lot. I've been playing around this for a day, I've
noticed somethings can be improved. Here are my thoughts.

1. Letter spacing issue:
Google way of switching between languages is cool, with ctrl+g, but
when I type in english with google text input in english in some
places like google chrome omni bar, there is a weird letter spacing
issue. I'm attaching the below image to describe it.

2. Ability to type in any language wherever theres a cursor.
I got excited after installing this application, and started typing in
tamil, but some applications crashed, when I typed tamil, even google
chrome crashed, when I typed in mibbit an IRC website. It would be
very cool, if we are able to type in tamil without the fear of
crashing. if we are typing in a non-utf-8 input field, a error saying
can't do it. instead of crashing the application will be very nice.

3. Exact Tamil words for pure English words.
The title is not self-descriptive, so I'll describe in detail. Most
English words don't have exact Tamil translation, so people choose to
use the English word with Tamil letters,

so a tab becomes டேப் (taeb), privacy becomes பிரைவசி (praivacy)

The English text in the brackets are the English letters that had to
be typed to achieve the exact sounding Tamil word. So to achieve an
exact same sounding English word, we have to use a different spelling
than the english word and exact phonetic match for tamil, so it would
be great if we have a set of default tamil phonetic words for "exact
english words" ( hope I'm clear on my point).

Also it doesn't switch the language back to the original English text,
when tab scrolling the selected language type.
