Hi.

I am following up on these queries about an API for Google Docs. Our
software team is developing a productivity tool for Google Apps users,
and we would like to be able to retrieve the list of Google Docs for a
particular user (login required of course). The details we would like
to see within the list retrieved are (for each document); the name,
the URL's (both editable and read-only versions), and any tags
assigned.

Any news on when this may be available?

Cheers...

4shame:

This is another frequent requested API.

Though I can't comment on when it will become available, what I can
say is that
it is very high on our priority list.

Please keep these requests coming in and vote on our API feature
requests page.
I read the page regularly and pass the feedback back to the relevant
teams.

cheers,

hi,
just voted for the google docs api,
my reason was that i often use google docs to jot down notes, but also
use other programs like tomboy, tiddlywiki, todo.sh, i wanted to
write some code to keep everything in sync, but though the data from
the other programs is accessible, right now there is no automatic way
to login and download all docs with a given tag.
please implement this feature. even an XML file containing the docs
stored in plain text format will do,
thanks,
harsha
