install downloaded gadgets

Is it possible to install downloaded gadgets from http://desktop.google.com/plugins
?

Yes. Just run ggl-gtk (or ggl-qt) with absolute path of the downloaded gadget file, like:

ggl-gtk /path/to/the/gadget.gg

Just replace /path/to/the/gadget.gg to the real path.

Then a dialog will popup asking you for confirmation.
Next time, you can just run ggl-gtk without the path. ggl will remember the gadget.

Would it be possible for the host to be changed so that you can run it
to add a gadget while a host is already running, and have it inform
the existing host to perform the install?
