Hi,

I am developing a Firefox extension:

I want to detect page loads and store page urls.

I can catch them using "DOMContentLoaded" or more better way by using
addProgressListener to browsers.
There is small problem when loading urls which auto redirect to other
site. I need to skip these pages. How can I find out if this is a

these issues will be sorted out dude... wait a while...

or get your brains on the keyboard and develop customized
applications!
yepps someone has to develop. :-)

Example, the Tab Mix Plus extension was not compatible with 3.5 and in
no time we had a compatible version.

Hello,

I'm quite new to javascript and know just enough to confuse
myself. ;) I have an extension that for the most part works, it does
what I want it to but I'm having a problem having it run in a constant
loop. The extension just writes the time to a file. There is no ui,
and I can't seem to find any examples for extensions without a ui. I

Hi, im developing a new extension for firefox that will be using
sqlite database.

Is there a way to query that database outside of my extension? I'm
worried about that firefox users of my extension would be able to log
on that file and change its contents. I'm sorry if this question is
too dumb, I'm new to sqlite and firefox addon development.

A parental control add-on knows what sites are adult (ProCon Latte)
and a privacy mode add-on does not save browsing data (Stealther). You
can manually not save adult site browsing data, but if you forget it
once, you will have to erase all history. I deleted a folder that was
going to show me my most visited sites, I can't use an add-on that

Right-clicking to get the "note this" option to store information in

Hi all I use firefox

recently (I am not sure when) my online google bookmarks stopped
working. When I click the bookmarks tab it asks me to sign in - which
I do but nothing happens - just keeps asking me to log in. Any ideas?

I held out with 2.0.0.20 Foxfire so I could have my favorite add-ons.
Jan. 1, however, I had to face up to it. I installed Firefox 3 and set
my Foxmarks to also sync password. So far it has worked OK. I also
recommend MozBackup, it has helped fix things, set up Firefox on a new
computer with same extensions, etc. It does passwords, too.

I'm with Flynn on this one. Now that Google Browser Sync is driving
home the point on each launch that it will not work after this month,
I'm eager to find something that will do session restoring/sharing
(which, of course, implies bookmark syncing, cookie syncing, password
syncing, and so on).

I use Yellow Dog Linux 6.0 which has Firefox 2.0.0.14 installed as
default browser. I have Google Browser Sync installed and Updater
Notifier installed. Tonight Update Notifier alerted me that there was
a new version of Google Browser Sync available, 1.4.20081223.0. Did
everyone else using Firefox 2.x get this update too?
