Google Finance Repeatedly Reports BP Closing Price Incorrectly

Google Finance has twice this week reported BP's closing price
incorrectly. Today (Friday 25 May 2012) it shows a closing price of
402p (down 1.28%). However, both Yahoo and ft.com show it as closing
at 407.35p (up 0.09%).
How can such a significant stock be quoted so badly wrong? Is Google
reliable? It seems not. This is the second time this week that this
has happened to the same stock.

Hello TuffLuv, thank you for reporting this. The closing price for May 25 for LON:BP is now correct. I notice there's a tick at 402 still on the chart just before closing; there was probably a period of time when we were displaying that tick before the official closing price came in.
