to Google Finance APIs and Tools
Hi all,

I am looking to achieve the following and am wondering if google API's
are the right tools to use. If so, can I find code samples on how to
achieve the following somewhere in the documentation?

1) provides stock quotes for a particular symbol
2) provides a stock chart for a symbol
3) provides news for a symbol
4) Summary information about each sector (i.e. health, etc.)
5) All market indices information

I would greatly appreciate any hints/info regarding these.

Thanks,
Payam

The best I've figured out so far is to build a portfolio.
Much of what you are trying to accomplish seems to be built into that
tool (ie quotes for all the stocks you are following that are
exportable, basic stock metrics, etc).
Also provides the news feed you are looking for.
A bit tedious to build the portfolio, but once built seems ok.

There is a function to create your portfolio by exporting your
brokerage activity in a csv file and uploading to Google Finance
portfolio. You will likely have to edit the upload to get it to work
smoothly.

What it doesn't seem to provide is sector info.
