Subject: Google +1 - no toolbar?

Hello!

I just tried Google +1. It seems to be easy to use, and hopefully will be
very useful.

But, I was wondering Google didn't release a toolbar/addon or something for
'+1'-ing websites.

You can't expect users to go *back* to the results page to +1 it right?

Unless of course you are hoping that each website will incorporate the
button into their pages.

Of course the popular ones will obviously..but what about the rest?
Like say, those, which no one updates any more, but still prove to be a
valuable source of information?

I think a button in the browser for that would be really great. Access to
our +1'ed sites from that (r, the Bookmarks directory) would be even
greater.

Please do think about it.
Best,
Arpit =)

Agree - it would be nice to +1 after going to a site (so you can see it
before +1ing), although i'd prefer it to be a bookmarklet instead of a
toolbar button as i don't like the space toolbars use up ;-)

Generally I'd just be happy if one of these publicly-say-i-like-this-result
options stayed around and got more maintenance, they keep seeming to go away
:'-(

Toolbar would be a good option. Integrating it directly into chrome wud be
better. Chrome Omnibox has got a star at the right end for bookmarking
right? Why not introduce a +1 icon on its left side?

A few trivial stuffs:
My +1 tab in my Google profile appears to be private by default. Isn't it
better to keep it public by default?
Again the +1 tab needs to be refreshed manually to see new updates. Making
it realtime like the commenting system in Buzz would be sleek :)

Agree!

This problem make the +1 useless. Is almost impossible to go back to the
results page to find the proper link in the page and push the +1 button .

Adding the +1 button in Google Quick Scroll<https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/okanipcmceoeemlbjnmnbdibhgp...>
or creating an extension to do so could make this useful.
