Hi all,
Just a few moments ago, we pushed live a new, completely revamped
Developer's Guide for the Earth API that covers older concepts in much
better detail, as well as several new plugin topics such as Mars,
Moon, and time:

Problems in GMap - Gearth plugin integration
|
| |
Hi,

1) When you click on a clickable GMarker or GPoly in 3D mode and the
infowindow appears the tilt is always reset to 0
2) If there are some clickable polylines, it seems that the... more »

existing example of how to do this? And if so, could someone please
point me to it?... more »

as google maps (with roads and stuff).
This may be done using image overlays in google earth plugin but I
don't know how to get the high resolution image needed for this...... more »

Extrusion Color (Other Than Gray)
|

The extrusion example right here shows a colored line with gray panels
as the extrusion down to Earth:

Is there a way to change the color (and possibly the transparency) of
the gray extrusion panels? Or is opaque gray the only color that comes... more »

Google Earth Plug in and Snow Leopard on Mac
|
| |
Today I saw a new Google Earth 5.1 was available and the Google Lat
Long Blog site said the Google Earth Plug in would be updated for the
Mac without another installation.
I still cannot see Google Earth embedded tours in Safari using Snow
Leopard. Was this not included in the update?

When viewing a placemark description in a balloon, an IE dns error
appears layered behind the description. The text is the familiar,
generic error page built into IE: "Internet Explorer cannot display
the webpage, most likely causes: You cannot connect to the
Internet, ...". This occurs on a Vista box with IE7 but does not... more »
