  Looking at the page in IE8, I see a new issue. When the page first &lt;br&gt; draws, the iframe is only a couple of pixels high (even though its &lt;br&gt; style is set to &amp;quot;height:100%&amp;quot;). If you click on the bit of the title &lt;br&gt; bar thats visible, the iframe suddenly jumps to full size (or at &lt;br&gt; least, almost full size).

We can get the (lat,long) from the user clicked point, but &lt;br&gt; how to proceed further, i.e., is there a way to find the nearest point

  Hi Nymor, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Im sure its solvable, and that it will be easy once we&#39;ve figured it &lt;br&gt; out :-) &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;On my site, the dialogs dont lose the right hand side in IE. So not &lt;br&gt; sure what&#39;s causing that. It might be an inherited style (eg border/ &lt;br&gt; padding/margin affecting where the iframe ends), but I took quick look

  In addition to what Nymor said, now when you install Google Earth the &lt;br&gt; plugin is installed by default. So as long as the user has the &lt;br&gt; current version of Google Earth (which, really, they should &lt;br&gt; considering all the speed improvements they made), the plugin will be &lt;br&gt; available.
