Good day.

I am trying to allow users the option of making the map view full
screen.

What I am trying to do is to change a statically positioned element to
a fixed position (with left:0 and top: 0) in order to 'remove' it from
the layout.

Whenever I do this, the google earth plugin tries to reload and
reports "The Google Earth Plugin had an internal error. Try reloading
the page."

Is there a fix for this, or another way of going to full screen mode?

Hi,

We have exactly the same problem on Mac OS X 10.5.8 only in FF3.5.5
(not in Safari).
We use google maps with G_SATELLITE_3D_MAP map type. In 3D map mode,
when going full screen, the map crashes and the following error is
shown in the error console:

Error: Bad NPObject as private data!
Source File: http://www.google.com/uds/api/earth/1.0/56ce34c6d009ea6795ba3ac23670c3ee/default.I.js
Line: 81

You can see an example here:

http://www.hikr.org/tour/post18642.html#gps

To reproduce, first choose "Earth" map type, then press the Fullscreen
button (just next to the map types select)

Fails in Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-
US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5

but works in Safari Version 4.0.4 (5531.21.10)
