BUG? Screen Overlays disappear

to KML Developer Support - Google Earth Browser Plugin

I have a lot of screen overlays, but sometimes some of them disappear
or maybe since they don't have given z-index, they tend to move back
and disappear that way.

Is there a way to stop this? This is so buggy right now, I'm tired of
trying to get it to work.
