How to download Google Earth features?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know whether this possibilty exists to download some features form google earth API such as roads, parks, water bodies....any feature that can be seen in the GE application. or even from Google Map Maker project?

In general, could I access the source file of google roads, points of interest and so on?

I appreciate for your collaboration in advance.

Hello Jim,

   I don't believe all layers from the Google Earth desktop application are available for the API. However, the roads layer is.

But the link talks about the availability of layers for the GE plugin and not downloadable. Am I right or I got it wrong?
