Possibility of downloading images?

We're demoing the program now and have plans to use this in conjunction with a large database of addresses. Besides writing something to screen-scrape what is displayed, is it possible through the native API to download the images programmatically? Naturally we'd be using the Google Earth Pro version.

 Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, a cursory search didn't return anything. Thanks for your time.

There is still the old COM-API, which mostly works. But I think you only get monochrome images. 

Not recommended. 

Otherwise try the Google Static Maps API
