Google Earth Plugin fails in Building Maker on Mac OS X

I'm seeing a perplexing pair of errors in my attempts to access Google
Building Maker. I have the Google Earth Plug-in installed but it isn't
recognized by Building Maker (which redirects me to install it again).
The plug-in works with the example on http://code.google.com/intl/en/apis/earth/

I'm also seeing this error in Firefox.
In Safari, I get "There was en error loading the Google Earth Plug-in.
Try reloading the page." Same error occurs after reload.

OS Apple Mac OS X 10.6.1
Firefox: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; nn-NO; rv:
1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 GTB5
Safari: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_1; nb-no)

Lee - where'd you get that link? I got the same thing, then simply
reloaded and went to http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/buildingmaker
and it worked.

Vldar - I "believe" the plugin is not currently working on 64 bit hw
in Snow Leopard with Safari, even if you're booted to 32 bit. Stay
tuned. I'll take a look at Firefox...

Sorry Barry, that other link doesn't work either: same result.

I also can't get the plugin to run under emulation on VirtualBox, but
that's another issue.
No building for me :-(

I have upgraded to Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) but this is the same problem still...  I guess it's back to Windows if I want to use building maker.

Anyone else?
