Are there any options for installing the GE API plugin on a system
without internet connection (yet)? Is there a manual process, that is
or can be outlined, by obtaining files from system that has the plugin
installed?

As far as I know this is the installation file for the Plugin
http://dl.google.com/earth/plugin/GoogleEarthPluginSetup.exe

Download that and then install that on the machine. (Got that url by
going to an page with the plugin on a machine without it installed)

Note however the plugin is very much an online application and I dont
think can function without an internet connection.

My two cents-- downloading the installer manually means you won't be
installing the latest version; since the plugin is under active
development, this is a crucial issue. There's also no guarantee that
the precise URL won't change.

My goal is to utilize the API plugin in a windows application (C# .NET
windows app with embedded ActiveX control) with GE Enterprise Client
with our own GE server. But, if I understand correctly, it appears
that my other problem is that the plugin is not yet built to support
the enterprise client (even if its not a web page) - true?

I have already developed this windows application and utilized it with
Google Earth Servers, and was hoping to be able to translate this work
to the Enterprise side - I suspected issues, but didn't anticipate
that I couldn't install the plugin.

I also have a GE COM API option that is developed - didn't want to go
this route since it isn't supported, but may have to until Enterprise
is supported for the plugin.

Hi DarinK,

Yes--support for Enterprise users is not available at this time. Keep
an eye out on the forum and the Geo Developers Blog at
http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com/ for updates.
